Metal basin study ...?

I have recently seen The Darjeeling Limited (excellent movie) and it is a scene with an Indian woman rocking a baby in a metal basin / cradle. It looks a bit like a rectangular wicker basket on a base, only the metal. Does anyone know where on earth I'd find one of these? I have searched the internet far and wide. I have come up with nothing. Please help.
