Table Pad
Contoured changing pad for changing table?
We have a dresser / changing table combo. We mostly bought it for the chest of drawers to store our baby clothes in. We not even sure that we will use it as a changing table, as it will be on the other side of the house, and I am sure I will not go there whenever I need to to change the baby. I know they sell the curved cushions to change the baby on when you use the table. Is there anything else we can use instead of having to buy one ... I know it does not seem like a lot of money at around $ 20, but we have so much to buy and looking for the necessities. Can we use a towel, maybe (probably folded). Our baby will never be left unattended at the table, so I do not think there would be a "fall" hazard. Any suggestions? Security is a big problem for us. Let me know what you think. BTW, the biggest reason I do not want to buy the changing mat is because I am not sure it will be used. Thank you for your input!
I do not think you should buy one unless you know you will put the changing table to use. My son is 10 months old and I have never once used his changing table to change him, it is a good shelf even for all his Blanki and stuffed animals! LOL Unless you want to use it when you have the baby so you can just get one after the baby is born, or ask for a baby shower! Good luck and congratulations!
