What is best way to wean a baby off swaddling?
Our 7 month old baby can not fall asleep unless she is wrapped, burrito-style, and wrapped tightly. The problem is that she is waking around 5.6 times at night to break out of the swaddle. So we get up, repacked her, only for the cycle to to continue. She is a very demanding baby, always will be held, or resting in its cradle-rocker, where she also held "close". Help!
Can you keep her wrapped up and put her in one of these "guard" things that are designed to keep baby in place? Or just put a carpet rolled up behind her back and put her on her side?
