Bassinet Rocking

6 weeks old wont sleep in the pool?

she would fall asleep in my arms and as soon as I put her in the pool, she wakes up, I've tried rocking it, patted her, leaving her there to see if she would fall asleep, I try for several hours and then get her out and she falls asleep immediately in my arms, if I put her to bed with me, she sleeps until her next feed. how can I get her to be there? Also during the day she sleeps in her rocker, but she will wake up every 10mins and jus fall asleep again. the only time she will have a good sleep in my arms, in bed with me or in the car. I've tried wrapping her, she does not like the arms of her screams until I take them out.

I think she is already being needed to be kept ... if you do not want to cooperate sleeping .... then pressing her to sleep in her pool ... it may take a week or 2 for her to realize your not going to rock her to sleep in your arms ... I think do whats best for yourself. If you can not stand her crying so do not feel guilty .. I slept with my daughter in our bed every night until she was almost 18 months .. Then decided I probably had enough .. she was older, it was a much less stressful to get into her bed .. she is back in our room now as a new baby is being born .. but she has a toddler bed .. I put her to sleep in his cradle at 730pm and bring her into my room when im ready for bed .. It works great with my schedule .. everyone is different and will like or dislike what others do .. I do not know what "you" want. If you can handle 1 week after getting her needs a new routine then hold it out and pressing her to sleep .. let her cry for a while ... then hit her again .. she will soon realize mummy is not going to pick me up .. maybe even try wrapping her in the shirt you've worn the day ... maybe your scent is a comfort to her.
