Blower Motor on central AC unit?

My ac unit begins to hum as normal, but the fan is not turning. I shut it down and went outside and removed cage covering the fan and the fan pulled some. The engine was very hot. The fan does not seem to be free spinning as an indoor house fan. I sprayed some WD40 in the house and down the shaft. It just hums like it is stuck. I have no idea AC units. Has a faint burning smell around the engine.

yes it is a condenser fan motor, you must first find a suppy company that sells to the general public. and take in the old engine, so you are shure to get the correct RPM and horsepower. and yes, a new run limit for the motor also. As far as the compressor, it must be ok, I just fixed a unit other day, was to run off with fan in 2 weeks before called me out and still good.
